This book was touted
as a "western romance". I didn't see much evidence of romance. There
was, however, plenty of manipulation, animosity, vengence, and violence.
I couldn't bring myself to like any of the characters. None of them had
much in the way of redeeming qualities and quite frankly, they all
deserve each other. If the rest of the author's books have this same
tone, I think I'll pass.

was a quick read about a girl who grew up on the wrong end of the town.
About being dirt poor and those who were extremely wealthy treated
others. It's about how she came home and overcame her past to become who
she was
